A very sad time for me having lost my dear friend Mary. We shared a common passion in growing plants and I cherish the memories of our visits in her little house on West Avenue. She had a “Natural” green thumb and taught me so much. I love you Mary and hope you and your dear Ivan are catching up on things over tea.

I knocked on Mary’s door, as realtors do, 2 years ago, I met an active gardener who taught me a lot, she was a sweet woman. Mary and I became friends, I would drive her, seemingly all over Kelowna, searching for angels, we would then visit the cemetery to hang and decorate for Ivan. Mary and I spent much time at doctor’s appointments, where this photo was taken. She taught me to speak my mind, and to not be taken advantage of! She was a good woman, content and happy, and missed her son everyday. Condolences to her family.
