She raised her children in Capreol and Sudbury, where she found joy in the family cottage on Lake Wanapitei, as well as spending happy times with their friends and numerous siblings. Lorraine also excelled as a skincare consultant for Beauty Counsellor, earning numerous awards, including a car. Relocating from Sudbury to Kelowna with her husband, Bertram, they built a successful motel and owned a beautiful apple orchard.
