We Remember

BROWN, Howard Thomas

April 7, 1936 — March 20, 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce that our dearly loved father, Howard Thomas Brown, passed away in his home on March 20, 2021 with family by his side.

He was a talented man with numerous interests and hobbies, and he always had a project on the go in his workshop. He loved to set up technical gadgets, and none of the family could figure out how he programmed the T.V., the lights in and around the house, or the numerous webcams recording every move on the property. We spent many evenings talking past midnight because he always had so many stories to share. Dad’s sense of humour was and always will be a BIG part of us and his legacy to our family and all who were a part of his life. Dad, we are so grateful for all the love and support, and for all the wonderful memories. We love you with all our hearts and will miss you always.

Howard leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Carol; their two children, Gail Macdonald (Dary Hemmons) and Gary (Lori Christie) Brown; his four grandchildren, Jordan, Shannon (Brandon), Dylan, and Brandon; his brother Robert Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private family gathering will be held in the near future to celebrate Howard’s life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the KGH foundation in Howard’s memory, or to a charity of your choice.

Carol and family, I was saddened to hear of Howie’s passing. I met Howie at the senior’s wood shop. He was kind, patient, and always had a twinkle in his eye. Howie’s wood carvings were amazing. May you be comforted by your memories. Sarah Braet
