We send our heartfelt sorrow for your loss. Ron was a friend for many years and we applaud his strength as he battled for so long. Rest in Peace, old friend!
I had only met Ron a handful of times, but each one of those times was always a pleasure. He was an easy guy to shoot the sh*t with, and being close friends with Jay for so long now, we always had something good to chat about. He was a strong willed man, fighting that battle as long as he did. I wish I had gotten to know him a little bit better.
I’m so sorry for everyone’s loss. Sending you all our love and condolences.
I’m deeply saddened about Ron’s passing. He has always held a special spot in my heart and will continue to. Ron was the Best Man at our wedding and continued to be a close friend throughout the years. We enjoyed many days fishing and boating out on the ocean with Ron and Hannelore. When in the Okanagan, meals, stories, and good times were shared with this wonderful couple. It warmed my heart to hear my husband and Ron share friendship and stories from fishing trips in their past. Both of children were very fond of RJ. He always made them feel important.
Ron if you are fishing, rest assured there is no limit! If you are golfing, the course is in great shape! If you are stoking the campfire, the wood won’t run out!
Rest In Peace and love my friend.
Sending much love to Hannelore and Jason. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Our few moments with Ron in Vancouver and the lively exchanges about our living and working experiences on the East Coast in the 1980s remain fond memories. It feels like it was yesterday.
Hannelore, Jason and Kara, in silent mourning you may find the strength to bear the pain of loss.
The little hints along your way will bring back the memories, and the smiles will return.
With heartfelt condolences.

It is with great sadness that we learned of Ron’s lost battle with cancer. We met him on our far too rare visits to Canada in Vancouver and Kelowna. He shared his great enthusiasm for fishing with us when he went out to sea with the boys and me in a small boat. We will never forget the warm hospitality with which Ron and Hannelore welcomed us to their home after months of motorhome tour through Canada and Alaska. Ron made us feel like we were part of the family. We felt at home.
Rest in peace. We will never forget you.
Our heartfelt thoughts are with Hannelore, Jason and Kara.
