We Remember
BRUSCHINSKY, Albert
April 27, 1933 — March 13, 2024
After 90 years, on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, in Kelowna, BC, our beloved Albert Bruschinsky departed this world. He has gone to join his dear wife Dorothy.
Born in 1933 in Krasna, Bessarabia, he embarked on a journey that would shape the course of his life. In 1953, he decided to leave his homeland behind and make a new beginning in Canada, sponsored by a farmer on the prairies. He then moved to Vancouver, BC where he became a cabinetmaker, though soon after found his calling and transitioned into home building. He became well-liked and respected in the home-building community within Richmond, BC. He was filled with immense joy when his son and son-in-law took over the business, keeping his legacy going.
Albert married Dorothy on September 29, 1962. They lived in Richmond, and had two children, Rick and Doris. In 1999, they decided to relocate to Kelowna, wanting to be closer to their children, Rick (Tara) and Doris (John), and their grandchildren, Talia, Bryden, Riley, Kiana, and Lexy. For Albert and Dorothy, family was the cornerstone of their lives.
Albert is held dear in the hearts of his immediate family, siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was sadly predeceased by his parents Johannes and Agatha Bruschinsky; his wife Dorothy; and brother Emanuel.
Family and friends will honour him, each in their own way. No formal service will be held.

To All the family
I had the pleasure and honor of working for your mom and dad housekeeping for a number of years. After Dorothy passed I continued with cleaning for Albert. He was a lovely person. I enjoyed his stories of how he came to this country and talk about his family, business and life. We had lots of laughs. He loved to give me a hard time. May he watch over all of you with his beloved Dorothy forever and always. RIP Albert ❤️
We were neighbours across the street from 1981 till the sad day your parents moved away. They were the type of people you could depend on if need be day or night.
Our deepest sympathy to all of your families.
May he rest in peace🙏
