My thoughts and prayers to the family of Juliana. Visiting her in the early years when I first moved here, I was inspired by her faith in the Lord. She had such a presence about her, one that was firm in her faith. I am thankful that now she is resting in peace with the Lord…and reunited with her late husband and sister Betty. My thoughts and prayers to all of you. God Bless you.
Linda and Dave we are so sorry for the loss of you beautiful mother. She has gone home to be with her beloved husband, Henry. She will be smiling down on your family as you continue to honor the phrase, “Life is for living. God Bless your family.
Linda and Dave and family….we are so sorry for the passing of your wonderful Mom. We didn’t know her, but we know she was wonderful because she raised a wonderful daughter.
Linda and Dave so sorry to hear of your loss. She has gone home, no more pain mental or physical, and into the arms of those she has loved, Blessings and hugs to both of you.
Tom, Linda and families,
So sorry to hear about your mom. I have many years of happy and wonderful memories of being with your family! Times of laughter and just being silly! Then as I got older, remembering the times working with your mom in the kitchen in Evangel. Your mom’s wicked sense of humour was a great treat as we cooked and cleaned up! I’ll never forget her telling me about the pastry shell she baked that was so hard she used it for a dog bowl! She was a special lady – a lady I will never forget!
To Linda, Tom and all the family: Julie played a very important role in my life. It was at their home on the farm that I prayed with her and Henry to rededicate my life to the Lord in May 1976. We had many wonderful times together over the years. Julie & Henry came to Mabel Lake to minister at our church. Aglow memories linger. In the latter years I visited and we shared the goodness of the Lord. My memories of your Mom will always be a treasure. I rejoice with her that she has gone to be with the Lord, and reunited with many, many people who Henry & Julie ministered to over the years. May the God of all comfort wrap His arms around you and give you peace. Sincerely, Maxine Dale
Julie was my Canadian spiritual mother. She single handedly brought the great Charismatic movement to women all across BC and to distant places around the globe. Her profound ministry and words gave birth to countless ministries that are currently impacting the world for Jesus. Julie was a rock. She was golden and stellar and her mark will be forever immortalized in the lives and testimonies of so many. In 1984 when I asked her to be our Dean of Women at Christ for Canada Bible Institute I knew she would elevate the faculty to a new plain of spiritual awakening and authority. Her contribution made the college one of the top institutes of that day. Marlene and I loved her deeply and her family has inherited the glory of her legacy. It will take an army of her kind to replace her. Tom, Linda, you both were so privileged to have been chosen by her and Henry and to be the children of their devotion. Just as she was so greatly loved by many will she be so greatly missed. But we will see her again…and Henry too…standing beside Jesus on that Day
