Passed away suddenly on February 26, 2014 in Edmonton, AB. He is survived by loving family, parents Roy and Susan and his brother Nick and a large extended family. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. Michael’s energy was so positive and good that you KNOW there has to be a higher power that created him. Michael’s energy has rejoined the universal energy and he will be there when it is your turn to rejoin that energy.
I cannot imagine how empty your life has become without him, but I hope you can find some peace in what I believe happened to his AMAZING energy.

yesterday evening I got a phone call from my Dad and so received the incredibly sad news that your beloved son Michael has passed away. Roy, my dear cousin, it’s a very long time since we last met, and unfortunately since then I never had the opportunity to meet you, your wife Susan and your children. I even more regret this after watching the funeral vid and here the photo slideshow. Michael must have been a nice and lovely and life-loving young man, and the more it’s hard or even impossible to understand how cruel the fate can be. It’s difficult for me to express my feelings in a foreign language, but I believe there are no words anyway who can help you to bear this loss. Susan, Roy, Nick, I want you to know that I feel deeply sad and that I’m with you in my closest thoughts.
