BULACH, Nicholas Anthony “Nick”
January 1, 1970 — January 1, 1970
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nick Bulach on April 25, 2015 at Kelowna Hospice House at the age of 75.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Eleanor and two daughters Brenda (Jack) Appel and Lynn (Rick) Hainstock. He will also be greatly missed by his two granddaughters Karlee and Ashlee Appel and step granddaughter Shawna (Carl) Johnson and two great step granddaughters Emilie and Elise. He is survived by two sisters Mary and Rose and several nieces and nephews.
Nick was born in Kelowna, BC on May 11, 1939. He was a successful orchardist in the Glenmore Valley for 45 years and a Firefighter for 24 years. Nick participated in and loved curling, baseball and hockey all of his life. He also enjoyed horseback riding, roping and fishing.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Dr. Michael Shepherd, Dr. Douglass Rolf, and all the staff on 6 West at KGH.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 9th, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Springfield Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the B.C. Lung Association.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I have fond memories of growing up in the Glenmore Valley. Your family was a big part of that. Will always remember the fun we had at the pool in the summer. Your dad was a strong contributor to the local community and the City of Kelowna. His character and his contributions will be missed.
