Please accept our sincere and heartfelt condolences. Auntie Elsie was such a sweet, loving and caring person. I was looking forward to catching up with her on a Birthday phone call this week. Hugs and Love to you all, Vichnaya Pamyat Auntie Elsie, Uncle Tony will be welcoming you with open arms.
I am so very sadden to hear of Elsie’s passing. I met Elsie many years ago, at Hawthorn Park. She spoiled me with baking, volunteering in recreation programs, and made special eggs to commemorate my marriage and the birth of my daughter. I have fond memories of Elsie, and wish I was able to be there to celebrate her life. I am thankful for knowing Elsie. Sending heart felt condolences to her family. Amy Gordon.
I was very sad when I heard that Elsie had passed. I was married to Merv for almost 30 years before he died and I felt a very strong connection to the Burkowski family. I have had little contact with Elsie in the past few years, but I have never forgotten her. My love and my prayers are with you all at this very sad time. Bobbie
We were deeply saddened to hear of Baba’s passing. My daughters and I grieve for the loss of my Dad and their grandfather (Merv) on a daily basis. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family at this time. We take solace in knowing that Baba is in a better place and reunited with her beloved husband and sons. May they all rest in peace happily together. With love – Jenny, Madison, & Isabella Johnson
I was very sad to hear of Elsie’s passing. I have known her for the last 8 years while working at Hawthorn Park. She was quite the lady! I was so happy to receive the egg that she made for my son. She also made one for my wedding and the birth of my daughter so it will be added to my special collection. I’m so sorry that she wasn’t able to give it to me in person. Thinking of Elsie and her family. I’m sure her family at Hawthorn Park will also be missing her greatly.
I have had the pleasure of working at Hawthorn Park and knowing Elsie for the past 4 years. I was heartbroken to hear of her passing. I will forever remember her fondly, she was so good to us girls! Rest in peace Elsie ♥
