We Remember
BUTTICCI, Stephen
September 16, 1980 — September 30, 2018
With broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Stephen Butticci. Born in Kelowna September 16, 1980 he passed away September 30, 2018 in Fort St. John where he worked and lived with the love of his life Susi and their fur baby Charlie.
Survived by his partner Susi Roy, his parents Danny and Denise Butticci, brother Terry, twin sister Stacey, niece Olivia and nephews Kalon and Seth, Uncle Len Bouvette (Joanne) and cousins Jason Bouvette (Leah), Lee Bouvette, Jamie Bennie (Kevin) and their families along with many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Bouvette, Deleurme and Hansen families. Predeceased by his grandparents Lawrence and Yvonne Bouvette, Joe and Wyonna Butticci and his Aunt Charlette Bouvette.
Nothing was more important to Steve than his family and friends and although he worked in the north he was always in touch and home often to spend time with us. He never forgot a birthday, anniversary or special occasion. He loved our family traditions and was excited about sharing them with Susi. Proud to be a pipeliner, he was hard-working, dependable and well respected by his coworkers. He was a likeable and friendly guy, a little shy, quick to grin and laugh and a quick temper too. He was extremely loyal and always the first person you called when you needed help of any kind. He grew up skiing and snowboarding, dirt and mountain biking, knew no fear and was always the first one to the bottom of the hill or over the trestle. He loved to camp in the woods, hunt, fish for trout in mountain lakes and salmon fishing off Vancouver Island with his Dad. He loved the north and was very happy, settling down with Susi and excited about their future.
Words cannot express how much we will miss him.
His favorite place to hang out was the home of his parents, so we will gather there to celebrate his life and share our sorrow, stories and memories.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, October 13, 2018. No formalities are planned, come at your convenience between 1 pm and 3 pm. Email dxdbutticci@hotmail.com for the address details.

To The Entire Butticci Family. Steve was my best friend.. Our friendship started In 1995 and remained strong until his passing. It’s taken me over a year to be able to be able to even talk about this . He was truly a one in a million person .He always gave me advice when I was really going through tough times . His friendship meant the world to me . We spend a lot of time laughing over the years and those are the moments I will remember and cherish the most . I’m so sorry for your loss . To Dan and Denise you raised a hell of a person . The values that you both instilled in him throughout the years were obviously in his character I miss him so much and I hope to see him again one day
