We Remember
BYHRE, Roy Everett
November 16, 1933 — January 28, 2018
Roy passed away suddenly with his family by his side. He was born in Melfort, Saskatchewan and was predeceased by his parents, 6 sisters and 6 brothers. Roy will be dearly missed by his loving wife Rose of 56 years; daughter Leanne (Ernie); grandchildren: Brent (Ashley), Cole (Danyelle), Clayton and Alanna (and their father Alan Chamberlain); great granddaughter Addison; sister Phyllis (Al); sisters-in-law: Verona, Gladys (Jim) and Alice; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Roy moved from Saskatchewan to Port Moody, BC at the age of 12 and went to work at the age of 16 at various jobs, mostly as a machine operator where he learned many skills which were a benefit in his own business operations. He was a hard worker until the day he passed.
Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
A Memorial Service will be held in Beaverdell, BC at a later date.

Roy was always so kind, one of the last good old timers of Beaverdell. I am sorry for your loss Rose and Leanne.

This was quite a shock, I thought Roy was one of those that could go on forever. My condolences to you Rose and Leanne.
I remember Roy as a solid, salt of the earth type of guy. He is certainly going to be missed…..
