We Remember

CALHOUN, Cory

March 22, 1977 — March 8, 2024

It is with profound sadness and heartache that we say goodbye to our son, Cory Calhoun (46), on March 8, 2024. Cory passed way unexpectedly after working his night shift on the oil rig in Edmonton.

Cory was born and raised in Kelowna, British Columbia. Alberta’s call beckoned, where the rugged landscape and the rhythm of the oil rigs became his calling. For years, he worked off and on, on the rigs, but it was in the haven of Langley, BC (since 2022) that Cory found sanctuary, there he was the happiest he’s been in a long time. He eagerly anticipated building his life alongside his beloved, Tiffany Jayne.

Cory’s absence, a void that hits his family hard, leaves his spirit to linger on in memories. Memories of kindness and compassion, of human connections, of a life embraced passionately, through adventures and through seeking out thrilling experiences. The end was inconceivable to Cory, he always said “I’m going to live forever”.

Left to cherish his memory, his beautiful daughter Taylor Jade; brother Shaun (Jenifer); parents Dale & Wendy; uncle Dave (Tara); grandmother, Betty Euloth; his fiancé & soulmate, Tiffany Janye, and her sons, Jude and Demetrious, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be sadly missed by his family and many, many friends.

Cory, you will live forever in our hearts and thoughts.

There will be a private family celebration of life for Cory.

Please take a moment and hug those you love, as life is so very precious.
