Passed away on September 19, 2015 at the age of 61. Survived by her daughters: Tempest (OddJoar) of Norway, Shona (Yvan) pf Surrey, Sonja (Jonny) of Norway; son Doug (Eugenie) of Kelowna; grandchildren Edina, Blaine, Brice, Rain, Dakota, Kevin, Runar, Shaun, Keanu, Lake, Ocean, Honey, Christopher and Amanda; sisters: Audrey, Priscella of Fraser Lake, Rita (Barnett) of Winfield, Linda (Ron) of Edmonton; brothers Buffalo Child of Montana, Vincent of Edmonton.
Predeceased by her daughters Angela Cartwright and Victoria Wright, mother Victoria Bugler, father Albert Bugler, brothers Freddy, Albert Jr. “Manny”, William “Billy” and sister Christine.
Bonnie Callaghan was born in North Battleford, SK. She moved to the Okanagan in the 1980’s and since then has called the Okanagan her home. She made people laugh and liked to make jokes. She loved all her children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers and friends. She was the most down to earth, honest person. She was never afraid to tell you how it was and she is going to be sorely missed herein the Okanagan as well as Edmonton, Saskatchewan and Norway.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 750 Rutland Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kelowna General Hospital Foundation, 2268 Pandosy Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 1T2 or Canadian Cancer Society.
