We Remember
CAMERON, Angus Albert
March 12, 1941 — January 18, 2018
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Angus Albert Cameron on January 18, 2018. Predeceased by his loving wife of 45 years, Anne in April 2013, Angus is survived by his son Christopher and daughter, Jill (Daniel). Originally from Port Arthur, ON, Angus and Anne moved west in the 1970s and finally to West Kelowna in 1978. Embracing all life had to offer, we will remember him for his many obsessions: his love of fly fishing, playing his bag pipes, camping, skiing and participating in conservation organizations.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Village at Smith Creek for the care and support Dad received during his time there and we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either the Alzheimer Foundation or a local conservation group.
Please join us for a celebration of his life on Sunday, February 25 at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna.
If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”

Chris, Jill , Daniel & all my sisters & brother, our hearts are broken but I will remember the many wonderful times we had together, wonderful laughs & moments that we got to share with Angus. Go & be our Angel, Angus. We will always love you.
It is with a heavy heart that I write this message, however I know Uncle Angus is at peace and with his love. Aunty Anne has been waiting for his embrace and to laugh once again. He shall be missed here but will be a wonderful man watching over us all. Love to all. Susan and Matthew McCullagh
My heart breaks a little every time I think of this world without you Uncle Angus. Your laughter, sense of humour and sneaky smirk will forever been missed. I know you are with Aunty Ann looking down and protecting us now. Enjoy the peace and serenity and know you are loved! God speed Uncle Angus.
