Don was a wonderful man who graciously gave of himself to all those in need. His sense of humour, contagious laughter and joie de vivre will be greatly missed. Fitting but sadly, final lessons. May we all learn well from them. Don would like it that way.
Sending heartfelt condolences to Eileen and the family. We have many fond memories of Don. He was such a kind and caring person and a wonderful compassionate teacher. I smile when I remember sharing a classroom with him at North Glenmore School. “ Those were the days my friend…”
A gentleman and great friend. Our thoughts are with you and your family. Heavy cold and flu prevents us from attending but know we are thinking of you. Don and Rita
I’m so sorry for your loss Noel. Thinking of you, your mom, and the rest of your family on this hardest of days.
I am so sorry to hear of Don’s passing, although it has been many decades since I was his student at North Glenmore Elementary I will always remember your kindness and happy that you had such a wonderful friendship with my parents. My heart goes out to the entire family. Sheldon

Aileen & family. We were saddened to hear of Don’s passing. I had the pleasure of seeing Don five days a week at Michaelbrook Golf Course. He was one of the top members with a smile and kind words to all and probably the most Hole-In-One’s ever scored. Our sincere condolences (from Mazatlan)

I was so very sorry to hear of Don’s passing, I know he’ll be missed by all that had the privilege of knowing him. Memories go back to the early 1950’s at Invermere, a well liked and pleasant teacher to be around. Aileen, my thoughts are with you and your family. God bless.
