CAMPBELL, Patricia Lynne

December 7, 1944 — November 3, 2021

With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that Patricia passed away peacefully at home on November 3, 2021.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 36 years, Alex Campbell; her children Wendy (Tony), Nancy (Jack), Kathleen (Mark), Christopher (Candace), and Curtis (Sarrah); her grandchildren Jeffrey, Rory, Lindsey, Morgan, Darcy, Alison, and George; her great-grandchildren Ariah, Liam, Isla, Mackenzie, Jack, Beckett, Dax, Jameson, Donovan and Linden; her sister Beverly; her foster son, Daniel; and so many extended family members both in Canada and Denmark. She was predeceased by her parents, Alton and Ada Green and her father figure Henry Riber.

Patricia was very community-oriented and an avid volunteer for various organizations, and noted in Kelowna’s deaf community. She had a long career with the John Howard Society and always went out of her way to help those in need.

Patricia valued family time with all of her children and grandchildren. She loved to travel to Denmark to visit her family and see the ocean, a journey she made many times.

Patricia was a creative person who loved music, and was a very talented vocalist who produced a record when she was younger. She loved sharing and playing all types of music with her family and friends. She also enjoyed knitting, and crafts. She loved dogs and almost all other animals, with the exception of birds.

Patricia was known for being a humorous, genuine, caring, wonderful woman and a great storyteller. She was also very strong-willed and determined in all aspects of life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A private gathering will be held to honour Patricia.
