We Remember
CAPOLA, Florence
November 4, 1931 — October 13, 2022
Florence Capola was born in Coleman, Alberta on November 4, 1931, she passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 13, 2022. Florence was predeceased by her husband Nickolas Capola in 1960. She is survived by her 3 daughters Kathy, Bruna, and Mary Ann; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was recognized at Kelowna General Hospital for her giant cinnamon buns and cheese biscuits. She will be missed by all the people she touched, including all her Mexican friends – where she wintered until she turned 85.
Her house was recognized for its many flower pots full of colour, large garden with many varieties of vegetables, and her large to huge tomatoes.
We would like to thank the staff at Spring Valley care home for the care that was given.
In keeping with Florence’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. She will be honoured in the hearts of those who had the joy of knowing her.

My heartfelt condolences to Flo’s entire family. I have so many fond memories of when she would visit the prairies. Her “cauliflower pancakes” were the best. She often sent my own stash home with me. Flo you will never be forgotten …..always enjoyed my visits with you. I admired your honesty and sincerity. Rest In Peace.
Dearest Kathy.
My deepest condolences to you.
Your mom was such a character. I loved every visit we shared when she would come for haircuts. She was a no BS kinda gal. We shared many laughs.
She will be dearly missed by many.
