We Remember
CARROLL, Jamie Leonard
November 8, 1977 — August 20, 2022
The family of Jamie Leonard Carroll is shocked and deeply saddened to announce his unexpected passing on August 20, 2022. He is lovingly remembered and lives on through his two kids, Mackenzie (19) and Jackson Carroll (17); his wife of 19 years, Mandi Carroll; his parents, Eunice and Leonard Carroll; his sister, Renee Carroll; and all his extended family and friends, near and far.
Jamie’s family was his number one priority and his most proud accomplishment. With unwavering commitment, his love to them was relentless and unmatched.
He was a free spirit and the life of the party, bringing a happy and welcoming energy everywhere he went. Jamie was an active member of his community and when not in his garage, he could be found on the ice playing hockey, on the bench coaching, golfing or in the fields playing baseball. His easy-going nature drew people in, and made him a friend to all. He enjoyed relaxing at their new summer spot in Enderby, exploring the backcountry and sharing a cold one by the campfire.
Mechanic by trade, he was a natural fixer and a go-to for many. He took pride in the work he did and the people he supported along the way. He will always be remembered for his big heart, helping hands and generous ways.
We are all fortunate to have had Jamie in our lives and grateful for the impact he had on us. He would insist we not hang our heads in sadness, but rather enjoy in happy memories.

We were very saddened to hear of Jamie’s passing, our deepest sympathies going out to his wife Mandi, children Mackenzie and Jackson. To his parents, our dear friends Len and Eunice, his sister Renee and his two nieces.
Barry and I have known Jamie since he was a young boy and he spent a lot of time at our house during his teens with Scott. The boys played hockey together and continued on with their close relationship. The boys would come to our camping spots many times over the years and we loved having Jamie around. He made us laugh, he always included us, asked how we were. I remember his huge smile and big heart very well. We loved him and will miss him.
Aunt Eunice and Uncle Len I am so, so sorry that you have to deal with this difficult time. My heart is breaking for you. Sending lots of love and prayers to you and the Families. Carolyn, Eugene and Alex
So sad to hear of Jamie’s sudden passing. What a wonderful man he was and will be remembered for his great personality. He will be missed by all who came in contact with him. Until later Jamie. RIP
I’m sure there are no words I can say that will erase the sadness and heartbreak that you are all feeling right now due to the loss of your son, brother, husband, father and uncle other than try and hold on to the beautiful memories you have all made as a family. I pray that God will embrace all of you in your time of need to bring you some relief. He has already embraced Jamie in his loving arms and between the two of them will get you through this tragic loss. You all have a beautiful guardian angel now forever watching over and protecting you until the day you meet again. That day will come and he will be the first to greet you with that beautiful smile and welcoming arms. So for now cherish every moment you all created in his lifetime and live in him and through him. He will never leave your side. Remember you all were the reason he was such a bright light while he lived here on this earth. Although you will miss him, he will want you to all continuously to shine in the way that he did until it’s your time. His abundance of love for all of you will get you through in the way your love for him while here made him into the beautiful young man he became. Len and Eunice you his beautiful parents started his wonderful journey here and moulded him into the beautiful human being that he was and made him special for Mandi and his children in the beautiful husband and dad he was for them. You got it right as parents and you had already started when you had blessed him with his warm and loving sister Renee. So hold on to all that you have accomplished as parents and always remember it takes angels to create angels. Your journey is not finished.
As for you Jamie it is obvious God needed you back. So Rest In Peace and continue watching and protecting your family.
