We Remember

Joan Chamberlain went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Thursday, July 8, 2021.

A kind, caring person, Joan gave her time freely to her community, through the thrift store at church and the Legion Auxiliary. She also gave her free time to many friends that would come by; her door was always open and so was her huge and loving heart.  She had a great sense of humour and a quick wit.  When her loving husband Oscar retired, he and Joan moved to Westbank, BC.

Sadly, she was predeceased by Oscar in 2011. She leaves behind her two sons Don and Jim; daughter Wendy; eight grandchildren; and lots of great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Village at Mill Creek, as well as the staff at Glenmore Lodge, for their amazing care and attention.

Respecting Joan’s wishes, she was cremated and there will be a Private Good-Bye. In lieu of flowers, please honour Joan’s memory by giving someone a helping hand and smile.
