It is with a great deal of sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mum.

Mum was predeceased by her husband Eric of 64 years in 2007 and her step-brother Herbert Farris in 1991.
Mum was born and raised in Okanagan Mission and lived her entire life in Kelowna. Active in her Parish of St. Andrews Anglican Church, she belonged to the ACW, the Altar Guild and in the Choir for many years. She loved to paint and was a founding member of the Kelowna Pallette Club and Watercolour Guild.
Mum was blessed with a cheerful disposition, a ready smile and a kind word to anyone. We were fortunate to have her as a Mum.
A celebration of Gladys’ life will be held on Thursday, June 27 2013 at 2:00 pm at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church 4619 Lakeshore Road, Reverend Canon Katherine Hall officiating. Mum will be interred beside Eric in St. Andrew’s cemetery. Reception will follow in the church Hall.

On behalf of the Kelowna Pallette Club I would like to extend our sympathy to the family. Gladys was a founding member of our club and without her contributions over the years our club would not have grown. We admired her talent, her friendship, and leadership.
