So very shocked and sorry to see of Jim’s passing. Jim called on us in his duties with ERI. We had many wide ranging conversations on life & the engine rebuilding business and I enjoyed his company very much.I was especially suprised as we had talked for 15 minutes on Sunday at Rona. Again our deepest sympathy to all the family.

So sorry to hear of Uncle Jim’s passing. I always enjoyed a good visit with him when he was visiting my parents. Both your Mom and Dad were so kind to Saeed and I when my Mom and Dad moved to Victoria and we were in still in Saskatoon with our brand new baby. Our condolences to all of you.
Much love,
Shannon and Saeed
I began to work for Jim & his partner Ron when they started Northside Automotive in Saskatoon, SK. They were the best bosses a person could have. One day Jim called me aside and side, “Neil, I know you are putting in a lot more hours than what you put on the time card. You’re cheating yourself. I want you to be honest.” Years later, when I left to start my own business, they took us out for a wonderful steak supper and told me that the door was always open if things didn’t work out for me.
We were all saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. We all have wonderful memories of him and enjoyed his visits when he was in town. He was a great man and will be missed. Our deepest condolences to his family. From the boys at Northside Engine Rebuilders. (Saskatoon)

Very sad news. A truly gentle man whose legacy is the many fond memories I have of our times together.
Jim and I were sales associates with ERI until retiring at the same time – then still conversing by e-mail – I will miss him
