We Remember

CLARKE, Jennifer “Trudy” Stanbridge

April 2, 1949 — June 22, 2021

Jennifer Clarke passed away on June 22, 2021, at Kelowna, BC. She was born April 2, 1949, in Kelowna to Arthur and Winifred Clarke. After a very successful sales career in Vancouver BC, she returned to Kelowna for her retirement, and she built her dream home in West Kelowna, BC, with a million dollar view of Okanagan Lake. Sadly,  after a tragic, life-changing car accident in 2010, Jennifer lost her sight and developed other health issues that unfortunately shortened her life.

Jennifer was predeceased by her parents and her infant son Greggory.  A loving and caring mother she is survived by her son Tyler Fortin of Coquitlam; her sisters, Janet Skubiak, Rona (Dave) Hamilton, and brother Bruce Clarke all of Kelowna; and numerous nephews and their families.

The family would like to express our appreciation for the support of her many in-home care aids, staff at Pine Acres, West Kelowna, and Mountainview Village (Kelowna) for making her final years as comfortable as possible.  A special thank-you to her good friend Anita Kilmartin for the support and love she gave Jennifer in her final days.

In lieu of a service, due to COVID-19, the family suggests a donation to the CNIBwww.cnib.ca, in memory of Jennifer.
