We Remember

CLAYTON, Rusti

Passed away suddenly on April 30, 2014 at the age of 63. Rusti is survived by her loving family: mother Antoinette Goletski; siblings Edward (Eva) of Winnipeg, MB, Veronica Schnell of Kamloops, BC, Larry (Roberta) of Kenora, ON, and Richard (Deborah) of Comox, BC; 5 nieces and 1 nephew. She is sadly predeceased by her father, Frank Goletski. Rusti working as an insurance agent for many years, moving to Kelowna in 1974, working at Whillis Harding. An aneurysm in 1994 made her life more challenging. Rusti will be remembered for her love of people, baseball, her motorcycle and her dog, Skulli. She was hospitable and very generous, volunteering for many hours at the Food Bank. She will be in our hearts forever. A Memorial Gathering for Rusti will be combined with her mother’s Funeral Service on Friday, June 20th at 11:00 am at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 750 Rutland Road North, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kelowna Community Food Bank, 1265 Ellis Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 1Z7. She was such a great friend and person always cheerful and I remember her love for her bike and her friends I met her when she first moved to kelowna I was working at Sings cafe just a few doors down from whillis and harding she used to come in three times a day Rip Rusti.

Remembering you from years gone by…. the camaraderie when we worked together at Christie -Phoenix. Rusti you were such an upbeat .. loving-life person.I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of you….     I met rusti when I moved here 10 years ago. We connected right away through mechanics. She was a wonderful woman whom helped me in many ways, too many to explain. I miss her dearly and I know she’s in heaven with scully looking over all of us. I was there when scully passed along with linda and I was there the day they found her. you’ll always be on my mind and in my heart. Everytime I look at teka I will remember her and scully as well as all the good times we shared with them and linda and lucky

    I was one of rusti’s closest friends. I was glad to be able to be there when no one else was. I will miss her dearly, but I feel much better that she is in heaven now ans with skully and her parents. I was so sadden to hear that your mother passed as well. My parents became friends with toni when they lived on sasatoon together. Lucky and I will and do miss her greatly.
