Went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 28, 2015, with family by her side, at the age of 95. Survived by her three daughters: Judy Matsalla of Kelowna, Dawn Lundin of West Kelowna, Laurie Korstanje (Casey) of Brantford, ON; seven grandchildren: Teresa Kahler (Russell), Lesa Gibbs (Ken), Geoffrey Wilson (Jen), Andrea Plementos, Shawna Lundin (Dean), Adrian Korstanje (Sarah), Jared Korstanje (Christina); eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Jack and daughter Coralie Plementos. Janet will be dearly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 2nd at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MS Society of Canada www.mssociety.ca. I remember having lots of visits with Auntie Janet in Ontario back in our younger days. I remember the time in 1984 when we drove out in our motor home to Florida and she came with us. We always had lots of fun with her and I’ll miss her. Connie
I have many fond memories of time spent with the Collard family. They were always full of laughs whenever Aunt Janet was around. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was sorry to hear of your loss. I will always remember Mrs. Collard’s smile. She would greet me before or after Coffee Hour or church at Central Baptist Brantford and her smile was radiant. May God grant your family the peace and comfort that you need at this time.
