We Remember

COLLINS, Virginia

November 1, 1950 — August 9, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of Virginia Collins, who touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth. Virginia passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2024, at the age of 73.

She now goes to join those who passed before her, including her parents, Gordon and Cecilia; and her brother, George. Left to hold her memory dear to their hearts are her four children, Steven Dalton, Everett (Stacey) Dalton, Conan (Demi) Dalton, and Theresa Dalton; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Dalton; five grandchildren; and brother, Gordon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will all miss her deeply.

Virginia was a kind, caring, and thoughtful woman who always had a warm smile and a gentle word for everyone she met. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, from the delicious meals she lovingly prepared to the beautifully decorated home she created. She had a passion for arts and crafts, spending countless hours knitting and crocheting, often creating handmade gifts that brought joy to those she loved. Virginia was always looking out for everyone around her, ensuring that they felt cared for and supported. Her absence will leave a void in the lives of all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.

There will be a private family service held at a later date.
