COURTNEY, James “Jim”

Passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the age of 63. Survived by his loving wife Anita, daughter Erin Courtney (fiancé Graham Leggatt); sons Martin (Andrea), Michael (Jennifer); grandchildren Hunter and Lyric, all of Kelowna; brother Richard and sisters Betty, Mary and Anne and their families, all of Ireland.

 

Come help us celebrate Jim’s life Friday, October 4, 2013 at 4:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In tribute to Jim, feel free to wear your favorite soccer jersey or something green. Jim was passionate about his family and the game of soccer.     I worked with Jim at Western Star and then was so happy to see him at the hospital as I too ended up working in health care after Western Star. He was a great man and always went out of his way to say Hi to me. I will truly miss his happiness he brought to everyday and everyone who crossed his path.He will be making the angels smile now.
