So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. We have many fond memories of times spent with both your mom and dad. He was a great person and always a pleasure to be around.
Saddened to hear the news of your Dad’s passing. Always enjoyed visiting with them on the their way to
the east coast. Your Mom and I shared stories about our nursing careers in Wpg. I will miss their newsy
family letters at Christmas, your Dad kept us up to date with the happenings of the extended
Dalgliesh clan. I will truly miss that connection. Please know that we will keep Jim in our thoughts
and prayers.
Eleanor, Katie, David .
Jim will truly be missed by both Kim and Dory ( The Phoenix Fitness Girls) who worked with Jim and Joan to keep up with good health! Our hearts go out to you in this time of Loss!!
God’s Blessings at this difficult time to all the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Dear Blair and all the family – We are so sorry to learn of your Dad’s passing! We also regret that we did not get to see you in the crowd at Laura’s Celebration of Life last August. It wasn’t till several days later that we saw your message in the memory book from that event. Additionally, at that time, we were not aware of your Mom’s passing. So much sadness in such a short time! It’s a tough journey, but we’re finding that even in the darkest of times there is a light of hope – sometimes dim – sometimes brighter. We think of you and Three Day Band often….such wonderful memories!
Sincere condolences – Gerry & Jeanie McAlpine
So sorry to hear about Jim’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. Only time will lessen the sorrow we feel today. Len and Judy
With sincere sympathy to you all. Jim and Joan were special members of the Kelowna chapter of P.E.O and welcomed me into the organization with open arms. I have wonderful memories of their kindness.
What a lovely service. It really reflected Jim (and Joan) in a very special way! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be there. Love from Brock and Eileen
We were so blessed to have been able to be with you virtually, as you shared your love and memories of Jim. He would haves loved hearing your words—you are truly tributes to both of your parents. We enjoyed so much our “on the road” experiences with them, and visits in Winnipeg, Kelowna, Walla WallA, and Dorchester, and were so touched by the photo of the 4 of us together—we shared good times, and more than a few glasses of wine! Be blessed by all your memories, and comforted, knowing they are together, and with you always in heart and spirit. Love to all—Judy and Steve
So sorry for you loss, Jim was one of the nicest men I know. Thank you for making your Dad’s service available on line.
I am one of your Mom’s P.E.O. Sisters
Dear David, Rob, Blair and all your families. We were so very sorry to hear about Jim’s passing, especially so soon after you lost your mom and grandma. The service was very touching and and we felt we were there with you in spirit. Love, Ruth and Phil Ullman, Calgary
Sending sincere sympathy for the loss of your father. Jim was a very special man. He and Joan were “salt of earth” and I feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know them through our P.E.O Chapter in Kelowna.
Thank-you for providing the wonderful online service. Take care of each other!
Blair, so sorry to hear about your Dad’s death. i enjoyed both your parents at Sturgeon Creek UC where they were both such active members.. I got to know them even better when you joined the Three Day Band with my husband, Larry. You spoke very well about your Dad at the memorial service which I just viewed. I think he would have been pleased.
Loved being here at this service. Thanks be to God for my cousin Joan. and her wonderful husband and best friend Jim
Jim was my boss for a year or so when I worked at the Canadian Wheat Board in the 90s. He gave a young 20 something year old guy not long out of University, seeking to change the world, some firm and gentle guidance and patience. I ever forgot that, and I will always appreciate it,
