We Remember

DAVIS, Chester Sherman
February 28, 1945 — February 15, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chester Sherman Davis. Chester was born in Bridge Lake, BC and passed peacefully in his home in Kelowna, BC, at the age of 79.
Chester is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Carol Davis; daughter Collette (Brian) Golberg; son Curtis (Candy) Davis; sister Betty Davis; brothers Edward and Les Davis; his grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He loved and was very proud of his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Chester was predeceased by his parents Sherman and Stina Davis; sister Margaret Lemky (née Davis); and brother Stewart Davis.
Chester had an interesting and busy life. He spent many years all over BC, logging, and building roads. He is best remembered for his witty sense of humour and story telling.
Though Chester lived in many beautiful places, he considered Williams Lake and Kelowna home.
He loved camping, fishing, hunting, and watching sports with friends and family.
Chester requested there be no formal service at this time. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

We are so sorry aunt Carol and family, uncle Chet will be remembered for helping family and friends in their time of need, he always had a twinkle in his eye as he teased and joked. Rest in peace Uncle Chet
My memories of Uncle Chet are all around his jokes and teasing as well as his hard-working nature. He certainly had a sparkle in his eye! I’m sharing in the sadness of this loss Aunty Carol, Collette and Curtis (and all the grandkids). Sending love.
