We Remember

DAVIS, Eric Herbert Gordon

Eric Herbert Gordon Davis was born in Port Blandford, Newfoundland to loving parents, Hubert and Amy. Though he lived many years working as a millwright in Fort McMurray, Alberta, and finally retired in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Eric always called Newfoundland “Home”.

Eric loved his family and was passionate about life. From the ocean to the woods, he enjoyed the outdoors; songs and stories flowed through his veins. Eric’s faith sustained him, and he would often be found serving in the Church, singing in the choir or helping a family member.

Eric Davis walked into the waiting arms of his Saviour on June 13, 2022, at the age of 73.  He is survived by his wife, Dulcie Davis, their children: Geoffrey Davis, Jason Davis, and Amy Davis, and their families including 9 grandchildren, as well as other close family members.  We know he is right now having a Heavenly kitchen party with Nan, Pop, Laban, Gerald, and so many friends too!

We will miss your vibrance and your laughter,
Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Papa, Brother, Uncle, Friend
And you remain in our hearts always!

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
