I will miss his quick wit and ready crooked smile. I will miss the: Rita, are you going to show them how to play ball? The where are your kids, Rita? The many whys of George went on and on. Playing ball will never be quite the same without our greatest fan.
Now may he once again, be able walk the hills of Westbank, and smell the roses that Monica grows.
With tears of memories .

Dear Anne, Joanne, Garnet and family,
We were all so saddened to hear of Georges’ passing. We have so many wonderful, fun memories of George as one of the best neighbors anyone could ever hope for. He was a wonderful, kind and generous man. May your happy memories carry you through this tough time.
Dear Ann, Ron, Shawna,Joanne, Garnet, grandchildren.
Today August 7, 2013, I was informed by my son Norman & daughter-in-law Angie, that your husband, father & grandfather had passed away April 7, 2013.
I’m now expressing my Deepest Condolences & Sympathy to everyone.
The last time I saw to George was many years ago, when he still lived in Delta, where I always admired his beautiful garden which he created from nothing. This was truly his passion. I will always remember George telling me that if I ever needed his help with whatever, that I could count on him to be there for me. The last time I spoke with George was I believe a couple years ago, and he said he was quite ill, but would keep on plugging.
At the time of his passing, I was in Holland & Wales, for 6 weeks. So am so very sorry that I was not able to attend his funeral to express my condolences in person. We are now extending our Love & Sympathy to you Ann, Ron/Shawna, Joanne/Garnet, and grandchildren.
