It was with much sadness that I learned today of the passing of Senhor Manuel de Oliveira in Kelowna.
I had the honour and privilege of knowing him from the days that we both worked at Alcan in the early ’70s and I have very fond memories of him!
He was a simple and humble man who was always ready to help anyone.
When we opened Ed’s Bake Shop he droped in to congratulate us and wish us good luck, a kind gesture that will never be forgotten!
Our deepest condolences to the Oliveira and extended families.
Rest In Peace Senhor Manuel, Eduardo e Delfina Gonçalves
