DECK, Daniel Peter
January 7, 1935 — November 11, 2021
Daniel was “born on the farm” near Denzil, Saskatchewan on January 7, 1935, and passed away peacefully on November 11, 2021, at the age of 86. During his lifetime he grew, played, danced, worked, married, raised a family, loved, laughed, felt sorrow, pain and lived a full life throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta and Kelowna BC.
Dan’s memory will be carried on by his wife of 62 years, Doris; their children Darcy (Carol), Diana (Grant), Donna (Dave), Doreen (Rob), Ted (Athena), Danette (Sean); 10 grandchildren: and 6 great-grandchildren. Survived by his siblings Carol, Benny, Patricia, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family, he was predeceased by siblings Mary, Lorraine, and Nelson.
Our family is very grateful to the supportive and caring staff of Kelowna General Hospital.

I’m so sorry to hear of my cousin Daniel’s passing. Sending warm thoughts to the family – Doris and all the rest of you D’s …and you too “T”(ed)! I have never forgotten that Daniel reached out to me when my dad passed all those (40) years ago. It really meant a lot to have his support as a young guy. I hope that you all feel supported as well.
