Rex Deines, born in Calgary, Alberta on July 13, 1942, passed away on March 17, 2025, in Kelowna, BC, surrounded by his family.
Rex’s first career was with the Royal Canadian Air Force, where he served his country with honor and dedication. His time in the Air Force was just the beginning of his commitment to serve and contribute to the well-being of others. After leaving the military, Rex found success as an entrepreneur, providing much-needed services to his community. He was well-known for his work as a skilled TV repairman, a role that not only allowed him to support his family but also to help those around him with his expertise.
Above all, he was a loving husband, a great aspiring father, and a wonderful grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Doris; sons Dave, Ken (Phyllis), and Paul (Sherry); grandchildren Rebecca and Spencer; step-grandchildren Nikia, Justin and Ariel and their children.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 11:00 am, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1346 Gordon Drive, Kelowna, BC.

As a dear friend if the Paul Deines family I am so sorry for your loss of wonderful man. My heart goes out to you and the rest of your family .
My Deepest Condolences to Doris and all the family. I am sorry for your great loss of Rex. May you all Love, cherish and hold, all of His memories, tucked in your hearts forever. Rex is at peace now and not suffering from his health issues. His Spirits will be with you all. May God Bless you all with strength, and love ,during this grieving time.

So sad to hear of Rex’s passing. I worked with Rex for a number of years in the TV repair indusrty in Calgary. He taught me everything I needed to pursue a very successful carrer in electronics. My condolences to Doris and family. Dave Daisley, Lethbridge, AB
