June 25, 1953 — July 28, 2015
Ron was born at Kelowna General Hospital on June 25, 1953 and passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the age of 62. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Heidi, his sons Shawn (Cindy) of Victoria, Ryan (Deanna) of Hope, Kyle (Jennifer) of Kelowna and Jess of Kelowna; his grandchildren Quinn and Tanner; his siblings Angie (Jim), Marcel, Lou (Rose), Lionel, Denis (Doreen), all of Kelowna. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Antoinette, his sister Yvonne Bouvette, his sister-in-law Marilyn Deleurme and his brother Andre Deleurme. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to BC Wildlife Federation, 101 – 9706 188th Street, Surrey, BC, V4N 3M2 or www.bcwf.bc.ca. So sad to read about the passing of Ronnie, I worked with Ron for many years at GWIL then Ashland. Ronnie had an infectious laugh and really lightened up the mood. My condolences to the Family.

Sorry for your loss, Heidi. Ron was such a great guy and co-worker. He had such an upbeat personality, right to the very end. He is finally at peace – no more suffering. We will miss him a lot. So sorry I could not make it to the funeral. Heartfelt sympathy from Elia and me.

I would just like to say RIP Ron and condolences to family and friends. I met Ron as a school mate at St. Joe’s so many years ago, he was a real nice kid then and it sounds like he turned out to be a real nice man. I’m sorry for your loss.

Dear Heidi & boys – Heidi it has been awhile since Jess & Stephanie were in school together, but we just wanted to say that we are so sorry for your loss & you are in our thoughts at this sad & difficult time. May your happy memories give you some comfort.
