We Remember
DHOTHAR, Kuldip Singh
May 5, 1940 — June 17, 2026
Born on May 5, 1940, Kuldip Singh Dhothar passed away at the age of 86, at Kelowna General Hospital on June 17, 2026, following a cardiac event at home.
Kuldip will be remembered as a hardworking, honest, helpful, and loving man. He spent his life dedicated to his family and took great pride in his work. Even in his later years, he continued to spend every day on the farm, staying active and connected to the land he cared for.
Gardening was one of Kuldip’s greatest pleasures. It was where he felt most at peace, and it was not unusual for him to stay outside working in his garden until dark.
Family was at the centre of Kuldip’s life. He loved his family deeply and worked hard to provide them with a good life and every opportunity he could. His loving presence, strong work ethic, and caring nature will be remembered by all who knew him.
Kulpid is survived by his children Gurjeet (Harpreet), Sarabjit; and the late Harjeet Dhotar’s spouse, Sukhpinder; grandchildren Baljeevan, Ajaideep, and Kamaldeep; and many extended family members and friends.
He now goes to join his beloved wife of almost 60 years, Kamaljit Dhothar (d. 2026), and son Harjeet, who both passed before him.
He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Kuldeep uncle was very special to me and my sister Lakhbir. He used to take us to school in Simla and I have always seen him as a kind gentle loving human being whose passing has really touched me. I wish I had been able to visit him more often but was pleased to see him on his farm in Kelowna 2 years ago. I will always cherish that memory and my heartfelt condolences to his children and all his family. May he rest in peace 🙏🏼
