We Remember
DICK, Clifford Alexander
—
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Clifford Alexander Dick, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, on December 21st, 2019.
Cliff is survived by his loving wife Betty, his daughters Kim, Kerri (Dave), Sherri (Kelly), Gail (Don) and Kelly; his sons Jad and Greg (Ingrid); 14 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren; and cousin Hazel Brown of Scotland.
Born in Drumheller, Alberta on December 20, 1929. Cliff moved to Kelowna from Alberta in 1966 with his beautiful wife Betty and never looked back. He was a most talented cabinetmaker and made his living creating beautiful homes throughout the Okanagan. In his spare time you could find him in his pool or on a slalom ski behind the boat. Generous of spirit he was always willing to lend a hand to those less fortunate. His family was always his biggest treasure and he had time for all of us.
We miss and love you very much. Rest easy until we meet again.
Special thank you to the staff at Chartwell Chatsworth in Kelowna for their kindness and support. Thank you to Dr. L. Pavan, Dr. S. Baxter, Dr. S.C. Leung and Dr. M. This man right here was a rare breed. We weren’t “blood” but he was my gramps most if not all of my life. We didnt need to be blood. You are truly going to be missed. You have no idea how much greatness you brought to many lives. Rest in peace Grandpa. I love you. Until we meet again. ♡
Cliff will be missed by all who knew him, as a Dinner at the Dicks house was truly delicious and an unforgettable occasion. My good freind Sherri invited me and my daughter Kathryn to spend one very special heartfelt Christmas with her family. My daughter sang hallelujah , it was an amazing evening I’ll never forget. Thanks for treating us I’ll never forget your warm smile , we will miss you greatly . ❤️❤️❤️
Never forgetting your generosity thank you Cliff ❤️❤️❤️
Condolence to the family of Cliff. Your soul may rest in peace. We missed you and love you.
Betty and Cliff’s family: I had the pleasure of first meeting Cliff and Betty 3 years ago, as Cliff readily adopted my dad, Al Simon, another resident at Chatsworth. Cliff was great at bringing a smile to my dad’s face, chauffeuring him( little did I know Cliff was actually older than my dad) visiting him in hospital and in general a good male friend in a heavily dominated female population at their age. Sending my love and condolences to the family, and Betty a big hug to you!!! Carol
