Charlie and Family
Charlie, Our Deepest Condolences to You and Your Family.
Our thoughts are with you and your family in this time of sorrow. Brian & I have thought about you & Gloria allot and have cherished the good times we had over many years.
It was great to have you & Gloria as friends in our life.
Gloria’s death was completely unexpected. My husband and I live in Regina. Gloria was my cousin and I loved her. Her sense of humour always brought a laugh. Even now I chuckle because she got me started smoking at the young age of 11. I quit 37 years ago. I hadn’t seen her in many years, and unfortunately, I missed her Regina visit to us in the fall of 2014 while we were away on our 50th wedding anniversary vacation. It would have been so good to see her again after so many years. Back in the 1970’s Gloria had mentioned that she accepted Christ as her personal Saviour watching a Christian film. If my recollection is true, then I will see her in heaven one day. Our sympathy goes out to Charlie and family today.
I was saddened to read about Gloria’s passing. My condolences to Charlie and family.Charlie and Gloria were my parents’ next-door neighbours in the 70s and 80s back on Walker St. in Regina. I was always happy to know that my parents had such good friends close by, and this despite the age difference (my parents were at least 20 years older than Charlie and Gloria). I remember Gloria’s ready laugh and kindness and Charlie’s humanity and of course his (Tom Selleck?) moustache. I remember Rhonda enjoying the company of Buffy (my parents’ bouncing baby cocker spaniel), and I remember chasing after three-year old Jennifer in the park in the crescent. Ken Hay, Quebec City

Dear Charlie and family,
I was saddened when I heard of Gloria’s passing. I loved her spirit and her crazy sense of humour. She was a woman who was herself in every way, nothing pretentious. I’m so happy I ran into both of you on the Rona parking lot last fall for a short visit.I will miss running into both of you at Winners, it was always a fun surprise meet up.
My thoughts are with you and your family Charlie.

Our thoughts are with you in this time of sorrow. It has been a while since you moved from Hansen Dr. but I still miss teasing Gloria, the tennis star, across the street and getting that quit witted reply back from her. We are thinking of you in time of sorrow.

Dear Charlie, I am so sad to hear of Gloria’s unexpected passing. I will always remember her dry sense of humour. She always made a party fun!
