Dear Olga,
I was the director of the Canadian Forces Weather Service when John and you visited and spend some time in Ottawa, about 30 years ago. We spend some time together and we still have a few recipes that you passed on to my wife at the time. I also visited you in Colorado. I was quite fond of John, who was a no-nonsense manager.
Please accept my sincere condolences upon his departure.
