Joyce was our sister-in-law for 31 years and loving wife to our brother Richard. It has been extremely difficult for all of us to witness the suffering she and Richie endured with health issues. They are asleep now ‘in’ Christ’s love, awaiting their future resurrection in God Almighty’s own good time. We will miss them, that’s for sure but, we have the ‘hope’ of a world tomorrow / a world renewed and ruled by Christ all in good time. That is what our hearts hang onto. In the meantime, my thoughts and prayers and my heart goes out to Crystal, Shane and Keifer. Sleep well, Joyce. Richie will be sleeping right alongside you. We loved you very much. With much love and sorrow. Viv
Joyce was a sweet sister in law. Loved her smile and happy disposition. So thankful that my brother had such a woman to love him. We loved her and miss her. Happy that the two of them are together again. Love and hugs of comfort to you Crystal and Shane, and your family. Always here for you. Be gentle with yourselves. Love Rose.
Dear Joyce,
I prayed you had some time after Rick’s sorrowful departure from us, to just be at peace with life, and find a way to get better. I know it wasn’t easy for you to watch him slip away while you also were struggling with cancer. I promised Rick I’d take care of you, you need only ask and it would be done. I hope you know how much I appreciate the love you showed my brother. He loved that you were an immaculate homemaker, an incredible cook, and you could figure out how to take a few dollars and totally decorate a home in white, and pink, and lace, and beauty… a warm and comforting home at all times. Rick loved everything about you, he couldn’t be happy unless you were happy. And you did indeed make him happy.
I pray you find your way to both Rick & Kevin, and it’s all as wonderful as Christ Jesus promised.
Until we meet again,
Love always, Sarah
