We Remember

DOST, Lydia

April 26, 1927 — August 7, 2021

Lydia fell asleep in Jesus on August 7, 2021. Awaiting a joyful reunion are her daughters Ingrid (Joe) Polzer of Kelowna, BC and Monika (Stan) Ratzlaff of Leduc, AB; son Gary (Gwen) Dost of Ashcroft, BC; six grandchildren Mark Polzer, Lisa (Phil) Ritchey, Jeremy (Robyne) Ratzlaff, Melanie (Brandon) Koperski, Katelyn (Seth) Dixon, Kristyn (Harrison) Chokka; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sadly, predeceased by Gottfried, her loving husband of 65 years, in 2013.

A Funeral Service will be held to pay tribute to Lydia, however due to the current pandemic attendance restrictions it will be by invitation only. The family would like to invite all who want to pay their respects to join by Livestream on MONDAY, AUGUST 16, 2021 AT 1:00 PM (see below). A recording will be made available to view shortly thereafter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency International), 20 Robert Street W., Newcastle, Ontario, L1B 1C6.

    I am so sorry to hear of Lydia’s death.I have fond memories of her and her husband; and especially remember the Christmas cards they always gave us each year when the girls were young. My prayers are with all of you. Jesus is coming soon so we will be together again.
