DOW, Dwain Wesley

January 20, 1955 — January 21, 2024

On January 21, 2024, in Kelowna, BC, Dwain Dow passed away peacefully at the age of 69.

Survived by his sister and her husband, Loreen Dow & David Mann, as well as by extended family of relations and friends from every walk of life.

Dwain was born on January 20, 1955, in Saskatchewan, to Lloyd (d. Feb 2003) & Elsa (d. Feb 2023) Dow. In his early years, Dwain had a passion for all things active: water-skiing, downhill skiing, boating, fishing, motorcycling, quadding, and horseback riding. As time went on, Dwain found joy in social activities, such as playing in a pool league and being a Member of the Army & Navy Club.

Family and friends will remember Dwain for his outgoing, social, and friendly demeanour. He was truly well-loved and will be deeply missed.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. If you are unable to attend in person, please join the family online by Livestream at the time of the service (see below), a recording will be made available to view shortly thereafter.

Memorial donations may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Dwain’s honour.
