DWORZNICKI, Alma Bertha

October 25, 1926 — December 25, 2024

Alma Bertha Dworznicki passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024, at the age of 98, in Kelowna, BC, with her son Martin and his partner Shirley by her side. Alma was born on October 25, 1926, in Wülfrath, Germany, and lived a life full of strength, resilience, and positivity.

Alma’s remarkable spirit and unwavering outlook on life made her a beloved presence to all who knew her. Her passion for life extended to her beautiful garden, where she found immense joy and peace. She was also an avid animal lover, always surrounded by the companionship of her furry friends.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the strength and joy she brought to those around her, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and love.

Alma is survived by her son Martin (Shirley); honorary kids Rosie, Michael, and Patricia; nephews Karl, Kristoff, Bernie, and Richard.  She was predeceased by her childhood sweetheart and husband Rudy; nephew Achim; her parents; and siblings.

Rest in peace, Alma.

There will not be a service.  Memorial donations may be sent to the Central Okanagan Hospice House.

    I just saw the obituary on Castanet, and was saddened to hear of your mom passing. I always called her for her birthday to wish her well. We spoke last October and she sounded so bright and happy. My sincere condolences to you and the family. Hugs to everyone.
