    Rick, you enjoyed every moment with your beautiful Judy and she with you- we could all see that. I knew from the moment I met her that she was extraordinarily special and I kinda had to realize that you must be too, because she chose you and loved you to pieces. I am so saddened by the loss of such a bright, capable, huggable, delightful person; a friend whose spirit and example will continue to enrich the lives of those she touched. Loads of love to you as you take baby steps along the very difficult path in front of you.

  • Brenda & Gerry Alfano says:

    Rick and Mrs Knibbs and family;
    Please accept our sincere condolances over the loss of Judyann. Judy and I were xray classmates at FHHC and even though we did not see each other often,the exchange of annual Christmas cards kept us in contact over the years. I have read some of the other comments and would have to agree with all. She was a beautiful, giving person,full of fun and had a sparkly personality that attracted people wherever she went. She will always be remembered and truly missed.
    Brenda and Gerry Alfano

  • Marc Hoelscher says:

    I wish like to send my deepest condolences to Judy’s family. I had the privilege of knowing Judy for only a short time during our climb on Kilimanjaro in 2007. However, her warmth, humour and courage had an enormous impact on all of us on the climb. There were times we laughed until we cried and it felt like we all had known each other for much longer than those few wonderful days in Africa. I see by all of these comments that Judy was a truly special person surrounded by a loving family and the closest of friends. I feel blessed to have known her and she will be forever missed.

  • Roy, Mary Ann, Meghan, Scott McKenzie says:

    To all my fellow colleagues, let us continue our efforts to find a cure.

    Best Regards,

    Pravin

    Thanks Rod a nice tribute from our Kilimanjaro team.

    Judy always seemed to be loving every step, every view, every flower and every note in our porter’s songs…when things are tough we should remember her battle and how she managed her climb with such joy.
