We Remember

ELDRIDGE, Brian Philip
November 15, 1943 — November 3, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Brian’s passing. Brian left this world on November 3, 2024, at the age of 80, after a brief stay in Kelowna General Hospital.
Brain was was born to Philip and Constance Eldridge on November 15, 1943, in Belleville, Ontario. At a young age, the family moved to Calgary, Alberta, where Brian would call home for most of his life. Gifted with a beautiful singing voice, Brian enjoyed being a member of a choir. It was in a choir that Brian would meet his fellow vocalist and future wife, Lynne (nee McDairmid). This passion for singing was one they would share their entire lives. After a long career in marketing, Brian retired to Kelowna so that he and Lynne could travel, golf, visit wineries and sing as much as possible.
Brian was predeceased by his adored wife, Lynne, and his beloved daughter, Lesley. He is survived by his son, Mark (Roxanne), and son-in-law, Dairen.
A private family ceremony will be held to celebrate Brian’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Canada.

Sending much love to the both of you, always.
Mark, Roxanne and Dairen,
Truly sorry to hear about Brian’s passing on November 3,2024. We knew Brian as a friend and business associate for many years and were able to play many golf games together, both in Calgary and at the Kelowna Golf and Country Club. I was fortunate in being able to visit Brian at Spring Valley Care Center a number of times earlier this year. It is sad that he has moved on and he will be missed. All our best to all of you, Ron and Kathy Crosby
Our heartfelt condolences to Brian’s Family
He was a good Neighbor of ours
I am so sorry I had lost touch with Brian and did not know he was ill. He was my cousin Lynne’s husband. I have a found diary from the McDiarmid family from 1876 and would like to get in touch with one of them.
sincerely,
Mary Koziar
