We Remember
ELLIOTT, Murray Richard
October 1, 1947 — November 1, 2026
Murray Richard Elliott, 79, of Kelowna, BC, passed away peacefully on November 1st, 2026. Born on October 1st, 1947, in Vancouver, BC, Murray was widely known for his sense of humour, his adventurous spirit, and his faith.
Throughout life, Murray enjoyed all things outdoors, whether that be biking, hiking, kayaking, or camping, and was a talented photographer who documented his many adventures. Everything was more fun when Murray was involved. Where others would see a challenge, he would see a game, and you were always invited to play too.
Murray is survived by his wife of 49 years, Donna Elliott; daughters Laura and Lisa Elliott; 3 grandchildren, Kash, Kyoko, and Archer; sister Barbara Baker; and nephews Frank and Paul Baker. Murray was preceded in death by his son, David Elliott.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 2:00pm, located at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. As Murray Elliott was never one for fancy dress, attendees are encouraged to wear their most fun outfits! Whether that be a silly T-shirt, a brightly colored jacket or a full-on Thanksgiving turkey hat!
