We Remember

Erhardt, Samuel
February 6, 1921 — November 29, 2012
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father Samuel Erhardt. He passed away on November 29, with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his loving wife Catherina and his son Leonard. He leaves behind his daughters Darlene, Joyce, Eleanor and Mardell (Everald), seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters as well as many extended family and friends. We wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Mountain View Care Facility for their wonderful care, compassion, and kindness given to our father and also a special thank you to Dr. Grant Chamberlain for his excellent care and concern he expressed for our father and our family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Mountain View Care Facility would be appreciated.

It was sad to read of Sam’s passing today. On behalf of the Pike family and all the staff that remembered and worked with Sam over the years, our Condolences to Sam’s daughter’s and their families. He was a mentor and friend to so many people, always with a smile. Sincerely, Art & Faye Pike

I am one of the Langham children that lived near your family home on Cadder Ave. I was great friends with Mardell and this day of sadness brings fond memories of our families lives together.

Hello my name is Jennifer Brown, Although I did not personally know Samuel I do know his daughters, Mardel ( who I once worked for at “Upjohn, Darlene and Joyce ” Whom were hairdressers and finally Elenor ( Ellie) my best friend. As the years have passed by I can’t help but remember how each of Samuel’s daughters had helped me ( in their own way and especially “Eli! I am so sorry to hear they all lost their father and can only pray that they all can move on. I also noticed in the orbits “Katherine the mother also moved on a strong woman whom I did have the pleasure to meet, many, many years ago. I hope that this email reaches them especially my good friend “Ellie. “God Bless you all.
