We Remember
ERICKSON, Leif Alan
—
On November 26, 2019, Leif passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side after a courageous 5-year battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Nancy; daughter Lavonna Erickson; and son Patrick (Candice) and their daughter Madelynn. He is also survived by his 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
The family and Leif would like to thank Dr. Khoo, the nurses, and the staff at the cancer center for all their exceptional care and attention that we all received these past years. THANK YOU!
A private family interment will be held and will be followed by a celebration of Leif’s life later this spring (date and time to be announced). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sindi Ahluwalia Hawkins Centre for the Southern Interior, www.bccancer.bc.ca.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember him trying to help get my truck started when I was there. Always had a good sense of humour and that will stay with me.
I really never knew before that there would be emotions/feelings that couldn’t be described with the words we have. Praying for you all. Especially I pray for Maddy who will sorely miss her Papa… Hugs to you all. <3
So sorry to here of Leif’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Patrick, Candice, and family,
I am so very sorry to hear of your dad’s passing.. Thinking of you during this difficult time
Patrick and family, I am sorry to hear this news. From listening to you Patrick, I know he fought a courageous battle. I’m sure the love and companionship he shared with his well loved grand daughter Maddie will always have an impact on er life. Blessing to the family.
Nancy, Lavonna, Patrick and family, my sincere condolences on your loss. I was saddened to read this. The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Leif was his energy and smile. He was a good solid guy, wore his heart on his sleeve and family came first to him. It has been quite a few years since I have seen Leif but I will always fondly remember my interactions with him.
Sincerely,
Gord Hoffman
