If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane.
I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken, No time to say “Goodbye”.
You were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why.
My heart still aches with sadness, and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to love you -No one can ever know.
But now I know you want me to mourn for you no more;
To remember all the happy times life still has much in store.
Since you’ll never be forgotten, I pledge to you today~
A hollowed place within my heart is where you’ll always stay.

In the New Year
Carla was a lovely person whom I knew at Rossland Secondary School.
Her family had her love for many years, and was expecting more . Knowing
that she loved you will help in these trying times.
Carla cared for my Grandpa for many years and it was always a comfort knowing that she was there for him when other family members were not able to be. She was always so kind, friendly and genuine. I hope that Carla’s family and friends will be able to find comfort in the memories of the amazing woman she was.
Our deepest condolences for your loss. Carla was a kind, caring, generous and loving friend that shared many good times with us for which we are grateful. She will be forever in our hearts.
Hi all, its Shandli Evans, Carla’s daughter. I just wanted to let you know mom’s service will be held on January 3rd 2015 at 11am. It will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Trail. Right behind the 7-11. Hope to see you there. Thank you for all of your kind words ♡
Both my husband and I have known Carla since high school and were always touched by her quick wit and quiet demeanor. Her pleasant smile and faithful friendship will be sadly missed.
I knew Carla during High School in Rossland. She was always cheerful & Sunny. So sad when someone is taken from us so early.
Carla looked after our mother, Muriel Thompson, for several years and became a close friend of hers and of ours. I was shocked to hear of her death, and am very saddened by it. She was a nice person and will be missed.
