We Remember
EVANS, Julie-Anne
July 31, 1946 — July 24, 2022
On July 24, 2022, Julie Evans passed away unexpectedly surrounded by family and beautiful to the end.
Left to cherish her memory are Wayne Richard Evans, her husband of 54 years; her children Stacey (Ryan) and Lee (Amanda); grandchildren Alexander, William, Brodie, and Erica; brothers Richard (Rita) and Stephen (Carol); sister-in-law Eileen; niece Luisa; nephews Richard, Andrew, and Eric; and cousins Alison, Rhea, Bill (Amy), Barbara and Helen. Julie was predeceased by her mother Mona Helen Johnson (d. 1977), and her father Eric Alfred Johnson (d. 2018).
Julie loved her life; mercifully she left us without any awareness or suffering. Julie loved her friends, her horses, and her farm but most of all she loved her family. She had a happy marriage, healthy happy children, and four grandchildren who were her most precious treasures. Julie will be remembered for her kindness, humour, indefatigable energy, discipline, selflessness, and unconditional love. She was a force, a fire, a flower and a blessing.
Julie-Anne Evans (née Johnson): wife, mother, Nana, grandma, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.
The family and close friends will celebrate Julie in a private service on her birthday, Sunday, July 31, 2022.
Flowers reflect Julie’s beauty and grace and are a welcome gift at this time.
