We Remember
FALCK, Edward “Eddy”
February 11, 1964 — November 8, 2023
Edward Allan Falck was born on February 11, 1964, in Kelowna, BC, to Jean & Henry Falck, and died on November 8, 2023, at the Kelowna General Hospital.
Eddy pursued studies in computer science at Okanagan College, embarking on a lengthy career within the industry. He leaves a void at Alpine Helicopters, where his presence proved integral to the team for many years.
With a variety of interests, Eddy was seldom bored. He was in to computer repairs; was an avid softball player; immersed himself in movies; and revelled in motorcycle rides and exploring the trails on a snowmobile. He also loved old vehicles and BMW cars. Eddy had a special fondness for cats, and most dear to his heart was his cat, Spidey.
Edward is survived by siblings Carol (Gordon) Phillips, Sandra (Dave) Marzinzik, MaryLou (Dan) Cook, Evelyn Ann (Larry) Jacques, Donna Falck, Randy Falck, and Patricia (Richard) Lawson. His memory also lives on in the hearts of numerous nieces and nephews. Edward was predeceased by his parents, brother Donald, and sister Kathleen.

Sad to see another friend from the old neighborhood is gone. I have many good memories playing with the boys across the road. My deepest condolences to Randy and the Falck family. Gone too soon, and never forgotten, RIP Ed.
So sorry to hear about Ed’s passing. My condolences to all of this family and friends. I worked alongside him at Alpine for 5 years. I don’t think there was a nicer person I’ve worked side by side with than him. He loved telling stories, mostly about his cats, or his cars. We shared a love for motorcycles and would talk about all the places we’ve been on them….but not before he had his coffee 🙂 Glad I knew you Ed, you were unique and one of a kind, rest easy.
RIP uncle Eddy, we miss you and think of you often. As I have told you many times, I will always cherish our memories together ❤️
OMG, I just learned of Eddie’s passing this afternoon. I am now in a state of shock. Eddie and I go back a long time. We both shared, along with Dan Boyer an experience that not one person could ever imagine. August 24, 1981…
Eddie, you have always been my friend, one of my many trusted people. I have countless memories of working on your 70 Maverick in shop class at RSS. That car left with us, that bond that the three of us had was a billion to one. I am so sad that you have left us. Eddie, I have told you many times that August 24, 1981 was not your fault. NEVER.
Please go well, my thoughts of you have alway been true, I have never viewed you anything less than admiration. When I go, let us meet again. God rest your soul Eddie, I am so very upset this the news of you passing, no one has any idea. You have been a big part of my life, is am so very sad…
To your family, this is not the way things go… You are all wonderful. I thank you all for Eddie and that I had the opportunity to know and Love him. God bless all of you.
